New maidGrowing up in a large family, Mylene developed a strong sense of responsibility, patience, and dedication to supporting her loved ones.
She completed her secondary education at Buanoy National High School in 2003. Determined to improve her skills and qualifications, she pursued vocational training in Caregiving and successfully earned her certification in 2025. In addition, she completed training in Housekeeping and Bread and Pastry Production in 2019. During her caregiving course, she also attended Basic Life Support and First Aid training, equipping her with essential skills in handling emergencies and providing proper care.
Mylene has gained valuable work experience both locally and abroad. She worked as a cashier from 2006 to 2010, followed by employment as a factory worker from 2016 to 2018.
Her domestic work experience started earlier,
Philippines from 2002 to 2006, when she worked for a Filipino family in a three-bedroom bungalow with a couple and three children aged 15, 5, and 3. There were two helpers in the household, and Mylene managed to balance her work while continuing her studies. In 2004, when her male employer became bedridden due to meningitis after a head operation, she assisted in his care by helping with feeding through a nasogastric tube (NGT), grooming, administering medication, and supporting the attending nurse.
Mylene is skilled in cooking Filipino dishes and has basic knowledge in baking. She is willing and eager to learn new cuisines and can easily follow instructions and recipes. She is capable of performing a wide range of household duties, including childcare, elderly care, cleaning, laundry, car washing, pet care, and gardening.
Mylene Cortez Cantabaco is a hardworking, reliable, and family-oriented individual who is highly motivated to work as a domestic worker. Her primary goal in seeking employment abroad, particularly in Singapore, is to provide a better future for her family and support the needs of her child.
