Cherry Ann has several years of working experience as a domestic helper in Hong Kong, handling both childcare and elderly care, as well as general household management.
Hong Kong (February 2015 – May 2015)
She was employed by a Chinese family living in a three-bedroom flat with a couple and their 4-year-old child. She worked as an all-around helper, performing household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking. She also looked after the child, ensuring the child’s safety and daily needs.
Hong Kong (August 2015 – August 2019)
She worked for another Chinese family living in a three-bedroom flat with an elderly couple. The male elder, aged 64, had suffered a mild stroke, while the female elder, aged 63, was still mobile. Her main responsibility was to care for the male elder, including assisting with mobility, administering medication, supporting grooming, and helping with exercises. She also handled household chores and marketing.
Hong Kong (August 2019 – July 2023)
She was employed by a Chinese family living in a four-room flat with a couple and two children aged 3 years and 6 months old. She was the sole helper responsible for all household duties, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and marketing. She also provided full-time care for the children, attending to their daily routines and needs.
Hong Kong (July 2023 – April 2024)
She worked for a Chinese-Portuguese family living in a two-bedroom flat with an elderly couple aged 85 and 75, both still mobile. She performed general household chores, including cleaning, laundry, and marketing, and assisted the elderly with their daily activities.
Hong Kong (August 2024 – July 2025)
She was employed by a Chinese-Indonesian family living in a four-room flat. The employer had a newborn baby in October 2024. Initially, there were two helpers, but the employer later decided to retain the other helper.
With her extensive experience, Cherry Ann is well-versed in general household management, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, dishwashing, cooking, and marketing. She is capable of maintaining a clean and organized home environment. She is willing to further enhance her caregiving skills and is open to handling elderly patients requiring closer attention.
She is knowledgeable in preparing Filipino and Chinese dishes and is able to follow recipes. She is enthusiastic and willing to learn other cuisines according to her employer’s preferences.
In addition to her core duties, she is willing to perform basic gardening and car washing.
Cherry Ann is described as hardworking, patient, responsible, and trustworthy. She is adaptable and able to work independently while following instructions carefully.
She is currently staying with her family while waiting for her application to be selected.
