There were two helpers in the household, and Mylene managed to balance her work while continuing her studies. In 2004, when her male employer became bedridden due to meningitis after a head operation, she assisted in his care by helping with feeding through a nasogastric tube (NGT), grooming, administering medication, and supporting the attending nurse.
Mylene is skilled in cooking Filipino dishes and has basic knowledge in baking. She is willing and eager to learn new cuisines and can easily follow instructions and recipes. She is capable of performing a wide range of household duties, including childcare, elderly care, cleaning, laundry, car washing, pet care, and gardening.

She completed her secondary education at Burgos National High School in 2005. Driven by her interest in caregiving, she pursued and completed a caregiving course in 2013, where she obtained her certification.
Maria has accumulated more than six years of experience in caregiving and patient support. Her responsibilities included feeding patients, assisting with grooming and hygiene, monitoring vital signs, and carrying out other tasks assigned by the medical team.
Prior to this, she gained valuable hands-on experience as a private caregiver in the Philippines. She was responsible for the patient’s daily care, including meal preparation, medication administration, assistance with personal hygiene, and light household chores. In this role, she provided full assistance with daily living activities, ensured the patient’s comfort and hygiene, prepared meals, and performed light housekeeping duties.
With her extensive experience, Maria is highly skilled in elderly care, particularly in handling patients with mobility issues, dementia, and chronic illnesses.
In addition to elderly care, she is also willing and confident to take care of young children. She is capable of preparing meals, feeding, bathing, dressing, and supervising children, including engaging them in basic educational activities.
Maria is also proficient in performing general household chores such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, dishwashing, and basic cooking.
