Singapore ( May 2019 – June 2019 ), she began working for a Chinese family in a 2-bedroom HDB flat. The family included a couple and an elderly couple (both mobile), ages 70 and 65. She also helped with meal preparation and cooking, which gave her an opportunity to refine her skills in Chinese cuisine while looking after the elderly couple’s needs.
Singapore (June 2019- Oct 2021) Later that year, Mirriam moved to work for another Chinese-Singaporean family. She looked after the three children and her responsibilities included maintaining the house, cooking meals, doing laundry, ironing, washing the car, and even caring for the family’s rabbit.
