  Rini Hindayani is a 27-year-old divorced Indonesian with one son, aged 9. She has gained childcare experience both through her employment in Singapore and by raising her own child from birth. She is able to understand basic English; however, her responses are not yet fluent, and she is continuing to learn and improve. From 2024 to 2026, she worked in Singapore for a Malay family of five consisting of Sir, Ma’am, and three children aged 11, 8, and 5. Her duties included preparing the children for school daily, walking them safely and punctually to and from school, and providing after-school care such as showering, meals, schoolwork, prayer time, and escorting them to the playground to ensure safe play. She also fed the family’s cat and two fishes. In addition, she cleaned two HDB flats (for her employer and the grandmother), handled cooking, and did marketing. She is able to cook simple Malay and Indonesian dishes that cater to both young children and adults, preparing meals suited to family preferences. Her skills include home-style dishes such as Rendang, Ayam Penyet, Egg Balado, and Shrimp Chili Sauce. Although she has no prior experience cooking pork, she is able to handle pork ingredients and is open to being taught. She is ready for interview and motivated to return to work in Singapore so that her child can have a better future. This reflects her determination, responsibility, and commitment to supporting both her family and her employer’s household.
