  Veronika Mardiana is a 36-year-old Indonesian, married with three children aged 14, 12, and 2. She has accumulated four years of experience in disabled care and household management in Malaysia and Indonesia. She is able to communicate in simple English and is confident in handling both caregiving and domestic responsibilities. From 2016 to 2019, she worked in Malaysia with a Chinese family of two, Sir and Ma’am. Her duties included assisting them with daily routines and personal needs, managing housekeeping in a 3-storey house with six bedrooms and six toilets, cooking, marketing, gardening, and washing three cars. She also showered, fed, and walked three big dogs, sharing all chores with another helper. Between 2020 and 2021, she worked in Indonesia with a family of five consisting of Sir, Ma’am, two teenagers aged 14 and 17, and a 65-year-old disabled Ah Mah with dementia. She assisted Ah Mah in activities of daily living, personal care, diapering, routine reminders, easing confusion, and providing emotional support. In addition, she managed housekeeping in a single-storey house with three bedrooms and two toilets. Veronika enjoys cooking simple Chinese and Indonesian home-style dishes such as Soto, Sop Ayam, Tumis Sayuran, Bubur, Omelet, Steam Ikan, Cap Cay, and Nasi Goreng. She is able to cater meals to different ages and health conditions, ensuring wholesome and suitable dishes for the family. She is ready to start work and is eager to work in Singapore to gain exposure to Singaporean family culture while continuing to support her own family.
