Marie Flor is a Filipino domestic helper with over 17 years of experience in Singapore, working with Chinese, Vietnamese, and Indian families managing household and provides support for childcare and elderly care. She is able to follow recipe and prepares Chinese, Western, Indian, vegetarian, and Vietnamese dishes.
Mar to May 2026. For an Indian vegetarian family of 2 adults and one three-year-old child in a 3-bedroom condo. Her duties included cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, grocery shopping, marketing and childcare. She manages school drop-off and pick-up, preparing school essentials and assists in daily routine and cooks vegetarian dishes such as sabji, dhal, curry, chapati and prata and other dishes following a recipe. She left as she cannot fit in with employer\s household.
Aug 2010 to Feb 2026. For a Chinese-Vietnamese family of two adults and one child in a four-bedroom HDB. She was responsible for general household duties, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, grocery shopping, and marketing, while also providing childcare. She cared for the child from the age of two, handling feeding, diaper changing, bathing, school drop-off and pick-up, preparing lunchboxes and meals, and caring for him when he was unwell. She completed her contract and left when the employer no longer required a domestic helper.
May 2009 to Jan 2010. For a Chinese family consisting of four adults and three children ages 15, 12, and 9 in a 3-bedroom HDB flat. Her duties included housekeeping, cooking, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and elderly care. She assisted the elderly couple with hospital appointments, medication, and their daily needs, particularly providing assistance for the elderly male (78 y/o). She also cared for the family’s pets, including a turtle and lovebirds. Her employment ended when the family decided to place the elderly person under her care in a nursing home.
She can prepare Indian vegetarian dishes, including vegetable masala, dal, paneer, aloo gobi, prata, and chole; Chinese dishes such as congee, fried rice, chicken rice, steamed fish, braised pork, and sweet and sour dishes; Vietnamese dishes including pho, bun cha, and spring rolls; and Western dishes such as baked meals, pork chops, buffalo wings, and pasta. She is also able to follow recipes and learn new dishes based on the employer’s preferences.
