  Jovelyn is a Filipino domestic helper with 8 years of experience working for Chinese households in Hong Kong. Her experience includes providing elderly and disabled care, performing general housework, and cooking Chinese cuisine for families living in condos and HDB flats. She has also provided care for a child aged 9 and is willing to work with other helpers, pets etc.
  
  Nov 2025 to end Sept 2026 for an elderly Chinese couple living in an 4-room HDB. The old man is 94y and the old lady is 88y old. Jovelyn\s duties are to check their blood pressure, bathing the old man, giving medication, bring them to the clinic, bring to the barbershop, bringing him for a walk and doing some exercises with him at the park; she also managed the housework like cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping with the old lady and assisting her to cook like chopping vegetables and ensuring the ingredients are ready.. Both the old people are quite difficult to handle and needing more professional care and so the employer\s adult children had to send them to the Nursing Home.
  
  Nov 2021 to July 2025, Jovelyn worked for a Chinese family in a condo in Hong Kong. The household consisted of 4 adults ( including elderly couplr in their late 80\s) and 9y old boys. Jovelyns duties included cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking Chinese food along with the granda and grocery shopping. She has learned to cook steamed fish, steamed chicken, stir fry vegetables, herbal soup, lotus soup, egg foo young with prawns, chicken curry etc. She completed her contract and went home.
  
  Sept 2019 to Sept 2021, she was employed by a Chinese father and his adult daugher who was bedridden and living in a flat in Hong Kong. Jovelyn would transfer from bed to wheelchair, bathing, change diapers, spoon feeding, giving medicine, bringing her to the doctor with her employer, cooking Chinese food, cleaning and grocery shopping. Jovelyn would cook meals like steamed tofu with soya, stir fry vegetables, soup, pan salmon with steamed broccoli etc. She left upon the completion of her contract.
  
  Mar 2017 to Jan 2019, she worked for a Chinese elderly couple living in flat in Hong Kong. The. Her main duties were to look after the old man who was half paralysed Jovelyn shared the work with another helper and they alternate caring for the old man on shifts and Jovelyn takes the night shifts; she would , cooking Chinese food, cleaning, and grocery shopping. She left after finishing her contract as she prefers to work alone without another helper.
