Jo-Ann has three years of working experience as a domestic helper in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2020 to 2023, with one employer. Her employer was a Muslim family with three children, all boys aged 1, 4, and 7 years old. They lived in a three-storey house with 6 bedrooms and 6 toilets, and Jo-Ann was the only helper in the household. Her main responsibility was to take care of the children and attend to their daily needs. She prepared their milk, bathed and fed them, changed diapers, applied lotion, and combed their hair. From 2023 to 2026, Jo-Ann worked for another employer in Singapore, taking care of a newborn baby girl. Her employer lived in a condominium with 3 bedrooms and 2 toilets, and she was the only helper in the household. Her main responsibility was to care for the newborn baby, including bathing, changing diapers, preparing milk formula, and attending to the baby\s daily needs. She also handled household chores such as cooking, cleaning, ironing, and laundry. In addition, she was responsible for car washing and taking care of the household bird.
