from EmployerLetter of Recommendation for Ana Joy Sudario Tecson I am pleased to recommend Ms. Ana Joy Sudario Tecson (Joy), who has worked with our family since December 2014. Joy joined us when our eldest son was just one year old. He is now 13, and she has since helped us raise two more children, now aged 9 and 5, whom she has cared for since birth. Joy\s greatest strength is her gentle and patient approach to caring for young children. A trained teacher in the Philippines, she has a naturally calm temperament and treats children with kindness and care. Even in stressful or frustrating situations, she does not raise her voice, lose her temper, or resort to physical punishment. Throughout her years with our family, we have always known her to be gentle and non-aggressive with our children. This has given us great peace of mind, particularly when they were babies and toddlers. We have trusted Joy to care for our children independently from the beginning. She manages school drop-offs and pick-ups, accompanies them to activities by public transport or Grab, prepares snacks and baby food, and organises playground outings and playdates. She has also spent countless hours playing with them, from Play-Doh and dolls to painting and badminton, adapting to their interests as they grew. We trust her fully with our children and have left them in her care overnight on numerous occasions. Joy is also well organised, independent, and excellent at housekeeping. I have always trusted her to manage her own schedule and daily responsibilities. She is reliable, follows routines well, and takes pride in keeping our home clean and tidy. Her regular duties include cleaning, ironing, and preparing dinner five days a week. Joy cooks simple family meals and follows recipes well. Over the years, she has learned several dishes we enjoy, including ratatouille, tabbouleh, chicken fajitas, and pasta. She is willing to learn new recipes with guidance. She is also responsible for tracking household expenses, which she does carefully and consistently. She can manage a budget and is familiar with cashless payments including GrabPay. In our household, Joy works Monday to Friday, with flexible duties and limited childcare responsibilities on Saturdays. She has Sundays and public holidays off and returns to the Philippines at least once a year. After nearly 12 years with our family, Joy has become an important part of our children\s lives. As they are now older and increasingly independent, we no longer require full-time household help. Joy is best suited to families with calm, easy-going children and a structured, predictable household. She thrives in peaceful, organised environments where expectations are clear and routines are well established. While she has experience caring for children with different personalities, she is most effective with those who respond well to gentle guidance and consistent routines. She is less suited to highly active or strong-willed children who require constant engagement and intervention, or to busy, unstructured households where priorities, schedules, and expectations frequently change. We hope Joy will find a family that appreciates her gentle nature, reliability, and dedication to her work. We believe that, in the right environment, she will be a valuable and trusted support to her next family. We are grateful for the many years she has spent caring for our children and wish her all the best in her next chapter. From 2014 To 2014 Country Singapore Main Duties Family with 1 year old kid, staying in HDB Childcare and General Household Chores Remark 21 Jan 2014 - 11 Apr 2014 - requested to transfer as she is micromanage by her employer From 2014 To 2014 Country Singapore Main Duties Family with 1 year old kid staying in HDB Childcare and General Household Chores Remark 11 Apr 2014 - 20 Dec 2014 - Employer moved back to Canada3 From 2014 To 2027 Country Singapore Main Duties Family with 3 Childcare - joined the family when the eldest still 1 year old, and during her tenure another 2 newborn joined the family, staying in a HDB.
