Employer 7 30/04/2022 to date - She works for an American-Irish family in a condo, serving a couple, 3 teenagers, and a dog, and handles all household chores, cleaning the house, washing clohtes, laundry, grocery shopping, cooking and running errands. Her employer gave her a reference letter saying; "Rowena Calarde has worked as a domestic helper for our family in Singapore from April 2021 to present. Rowena came to us highly recommended by another expat family, who had employed her earlier in her career in Singapore. During her time with us, Rowena looked after the household and our aging dog. This included cleaning, cooking, laundry, tending to our small balcony garden, washing the car once a week and grocery shopping. Rowena cooks and bakes Western food to a high standard and can follow any recipe you give her. She prefers to set her own cleaning schedule. She is efficient and maintained the cleanliness of our duplex apartment to an appropriate standard. During her time with us, two of our three children were either studying or working abroad, and our third child was in her final years of high school here in Singapore. Our household contracted and expanded depending on who was at home and Rowena had to manage sometimes frequent changes in routine as our now adult children came and went, sometimes with partners in tow. One of Rowena’s main duties was to look after our dog. She is very good with pets and took great care of our Westie, including feeding, walking and washing him. As our circumstances are changing, Rowena is now looking for a new position. She will be an asset to any household that needs a domestic helper who can cook well without supervision and can manage the household independently."

Her employer gave her a written reference saying; "I am very happy to provide a reference for Rowena Calade, who worked for our family in Singapore for 12 years. During that time, we lived first in an apartment and later in a large five-bedroom house. Rowena was responsible for the general running of the household, including cleaning, laundry, cooking and other household duties, all of which she carried out to a very high standard. She was also a great help with our two children, who were very young when she first joined us. With both my wife and I working, Rowena would take the children to school, help with their activities, and generally look after them when needed. She was someone we trusted completely. As an Italian family, we enjoyed plenty of Italian cooking, which Rowena became very good at preparing, alongside her excellent Asian dishes. Beyond her work, Rowena was always cheerful, polite, reliable and hardworking. She was a regular churchgoer and, over the years, became much more than just an employee. She was an important part of our family, and even today, our children still speak of her with great fondness. I cannot recommend Rowena highly enough. Any family would be extremely fortunate to have her, and I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her."
