She was responsible for household chores like washing dishes, mopping, cleaning, doing the laundry.

On Sep2019- Dec2022 Jhoana stayed with an Arab family for 3yrs in Saudi. She also does the cooking, housekeeping, doing laundry, ironing clothes and washing dishes.

She was also in Abu Dhabi, UAE on Jun2016-Jun2018 to work as a house help for a family of five, the couple and their three children. The family owned a 4bedroom mansion where she and another Indonesian cook stayed with them. She does the housekeeping task such as cleaning, mopping floors, scrubs toilet and tubs, doing the laundry, ironing, washing the dishes, and car washing. She would assists in feeding, diaper changing, bathing, dressing, feeding, administering prescription medicines, and bringing her to her regular medical check ups.

On Jun2004 - Dec2012 Jhoana was in Kuwait as a housekeeper. As a housekeeper, she does the laundry, wash dishes, iron clothes, cook meals, tends the lawn and wash their 3 cars.

She cooks Filipino dishes such as Sinigang, Paksiw, Lumpia, Adobo, and Pancit to name a few, also Arabic meals like Hummus, Fatayer (meat pie) , Fattoush Salad, Pita, and Falafel.
