Her seven(7) years of stay with her employer gained her language and cultural training. Sharon is proficient in both spoken and written Bahasa Malay.

She was responsible for taking care of the family needs such as maintaining a clean and organized household for a family of eight(8). She did all the laundry, ironed clothes, washed dirty linens, changed bedding and curtains, vacuum cleaned the house, washed the dishes, scrubbed toilet bowls and tiles. Sharon also car washed and tend to their small fish pond of Koi Fish. She knows how to care for pets too like dogs, for the family owns two(2) dogs.

She is also keen at looking after babies and toddlers.

Sharon would prepare meals like steamed vegetables and soups for the family, as they would always asked her to cook Mi Goreng. She also cooks Filipino dishes such as tinola, beef caldereta, paksiw, adobo (squid/pork/chicken), pansit beejon, grilled chicken/pork or fish, biko (sticky rice cake),spring roll, spaghetti and meat balls, and macaroni salad.
