She described herself as independent, responsible, and respectful. She also volunteered in outreach and feeding programme in nursing homes and barangays. During such event, she looked after the elderly welfare, monitored and checked their vital signs, accompanied and assisted in their activities and exercises routine, ensure proper hygiene and sanitation.

Donna Grace worked in a flat with 3-bedrooms, 4-toilets, 2-kitchen and a living room for a family of 4 with a 56-year-old diabetic male patient undergone kidney transplant with hypertension, and she looked after his welfare, together with an on-call helper. Daily, she prepares and cook for the patient, marketing, does his laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better caregiver.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her nieces and nephews’ welfare.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly. In her caregiving experience, she prepares their meals and fed via NGT, bathe and change their soiled clothes and diapers, check vital signs, such as blood sugar level, accompany him outdoor for medical check-ups, strolls and during hospital admission, administer medications and insulin, attend to and assist in his needs.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. In her previous experience, she grooms, feed and walk two small dogs, keep clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.



Recommendation

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Donna Grace is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
