After high school she worked as a cook cum waitress for 3 yrs in order to save money for her own college education which she later completed in with a BA in Elem Education. She then came here in Jan to work as a helper with a Scottish/Thai family in a 2-Storey house. However, this family is now relocating to Thailand. She likes it here in Spore & wishes to continue working here as a helper & hopes to find an employer before her Feb deadline. She wishes to work yrs plus here before going back to Manila to either open a restaurant or open a childcare centre as both are her forte. Mel has a cool, calm & demure personality. She says she may come across as quiet & reserved but she is extremely childish when it comes to children. In her own words she confidently describes herself as "a jolly person, trusted, having initiative, good in taking care of babies & considerate towards others.
