Arlene Labe is an experienced domestic helper with a multicultural household in Singapore and the Middle East.

May 2024 - present, she has been employed by an Australian-Romanian couple living in a two-story penthouse with five bedrooms. She has her own room and is primarily responsible for caring for their two children, aged 6 and 9. Her daily duties include preparing breakfast for the family, making lunchboxes for the children, escorting them to the bus stop, and picking them up in the afternoon. She also assists with playdates, takes them to the playground, and prepares dinner. In addition, she manages household chores, including vacuuming, cleaning, washing dishes, doing the laundry, ironing clothes, car washing, and caring for the family's pets, which include a hamster, two birds, two tortoises, and two aquariums of fish. Arlene handles meal planning, cooking up to four dishes per meal, and is good at making a variety of recipes, including soups, bread rolls, pizza, chili con carne, chicken curry, salads, and Scottish specialties as requested by her employer. She also performs specialized tasks such as cleaning a kayak monthly and maintaining aquariums twice weekly. Arlene is seeking a transfer due to challenges in adapting to her current employer’s household environment. She also accompanied them to playdates and playground visits. Arlene managed the household handling tasks such as car washing dishes, cleaning, ironing clothes, doing the laundry, making beds, cooking two dishes per meals daily, grocery shopping and maintaining a clean home.

March 2010 - Jun 2012, Arlene served an Arabian couple in a villa, where she cared for their three children, aged 10, 6, and 1. Arlene also managed the entire villa, which had four bedrooms and two large family rooms. As the sole helper, she assisted in the kitchen and cooked a variety of dishes, including Arabic specialties like salata, hummus, samosas, molokhiya, and biryani. She too is good at Filipino favorites such as sinigang, adobo, caldereta, menudo, mechado, and afritada. She completed her contract.
