Was raised by her mum who did manicure & pedicure. She's been here with 3 Chinese employers. Current empl of 3 yrs 7 mths is shifting to China. They have given her a very good ref letter that actually encapsulates all you need to know about Dessa. They find her to be "an amazing helper; speedy at learning; very lively; painstakingly undertakes to carry out attentively all domestic duties (laundry, cooking, child/baby care, care for aged, cleaning); enthusiastic; always ready to take over new challenges & responsibilities; remained courteous & polite at all times" etc. They also trusted her greatly -- often left her alone at home with an ATM card for money for all utilities bills & contingencies. So far Dessa has been supporting her daughter & her mum & has also renovated their family home. She wishes to work another 5 yrs or so then go back and open a small restaurant as she loves cooking. Dessa is a stayer & hence has little experience in presenting herself at interviews etc. She has a very shy demeanor & is not forthcoming with information about herself unless it is pointedly asked of her. Seems like a good safe bet for any home.
