They lived in an apartment with 3 bedrooms and Mary Jane was the only helper in the household.
Her main responsibility was childcare for the young girl, including changing clothes, preparing her bag and uniform, preparing meals, and engaging her in playtime.
In addition, she managed general household chores such as cleaning, ironing, laundry, changing bed linens, and cooking.
Mary Jane is able to prepare Middle Eastern dishes such as biryani, mashbooh, and chicken marrow.

The employer had 2 wives - the first wife lived on the ground floor, and the second wife on the second floor.
Mary Jane was assigned to serve only the first wife and had no involvement with the second wife or her household.
There were a total of 6 helpers in the household: Mary Jane and 1 Sri Lankan helper served the first wife, while the remaining 4 helpers were assigned to the second wife and her children.
Mary Jane's responsibilities focused on general housework and laundry, which she shared with the Sri Lankan helper.
Cooking was handled by another helper, but Mary Jane is also familiar with preparing Arabic food.
She finished her 2-year contract, extended her employment, and eventually returned to the Philippines due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
May 2023 to Apr 2025(1yrs & 11mo) UAE: Mary Jane worked in the United Arab Emirates for an Emirati family of five, which included a 2yo boy with autism.
After 5 months, the employer had a newborn baby.
They lived in a 4-bedroom apartment and employed 2 helpers - Mary Jane and one Ethiopian helper.
The madam worked in customs, while sir served in the army.
Mary Jane and the Ethiopian co-helper worked together to manage both childcare and general housework.
Her duties included taking care of the newborn - preparing milk, changing diapers, bathing, and putting the baby to sleep.
She also assisted in caring for the 2yo by preparing meals, playing, changing clothes, and bringing him to the playground.
In the mornings, she helped prepare the child's school uniform and bag.
Mary Jane was also responsible for general household chores such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, and cooking.
She completed her contract and was released earlier than expected due to her son's graduation.
Mary Jane looks forward to work in Singapore again to earn money to support her family.
