The Ah Ma was weak, needed assistance with showering, took regular medication, and used a wheelchair for mobility, although she could still walk slowly with support.
Marita was responsible for her daily care, ensuring her comfort and well-being.
In addition to elderly care, Marita handled general household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking simple Chinese meals like chicken curry, steamed fish, ABC soup and more.
She lived with the family in a HDB with 3 bedrooms and was the sole helper in the household.
Marita also took care of the family's pet cat by feeding and cleaning up after it.
Mar 2021 to Dec 2023 (2yrs & 9mo) Philippines: Marita worked for a Filipino family of 3 with 2 adults and a 6yo girl.
The family lived in a flat with3bedrooms, and Marita was the only helper in the household.
In addition to caring for the child, Marita also handled general household chores such as cleaning, laundry, gardening, and car washing.
She prepared daily meals for the family, mainly cooking Filipino dishes.
She worked there for a period of time and left the job just 3 months ago.
Marita is now ready to return to household work overseas, bringing with her not only years of domestic experience but also added skills in customer service and communication.
