Felisa is an unassuming yr old. She wanted to continue her studies but could not as they were poor and as such after her high school she went to Manila to work as a ‘Sewer’ for about 4 yrs. Then at yrs she came back to her home town to work as a domestic helper with a Chinese/Filipino family for months. She worked here for an Arabian family in a big house, looking after their 3 kids – 3 months, 5 yrs & 9 yrs. However, she could not take the weather there and decided to come to Singapore. They have given her all the time she needs to look for her next employer. Felisa says that she can be trusted - with her current employer, when they go out, “they leave their children in my watch”. Her honesty comes across very strongly in the interview. She wants to work hard to continue supporting her family.
