Arlene completed college with a diploma in IT & worked for Texas Instruments in Phil's for 3 yrs. So when she reached the qualifying age of , she came here in in search of better earnings. Worked 2 yrs plus for 2 Indian families then moved on to a US/French family as she could not take to Indian food. She's been with this US family for nearly 2 yrs now & need to transfer in July as they are relocating to Canada. They also sent her for a cooking course at Expat Kitchen. She's become quite good not only at Western, Chinese & Indian cooking but in healthy cooking too. This US employer trust her to the point that she is allowed to hold their nets & credit cards to manage the groceries & budgeting etc. Arlene wishes to work about 3 more years here, take up a caregiver's course then find her way to Canada. Her long term plan is to save money and some day start a business in the Phil's dealing in school supplies.
