To support them and the family, she was enterprising enough to start an agriculture machine parts business. Then at , to earn more for the sake of her children’s future, she decided to go to Jordan to work. She worked there for more than 4 yrs taking care of the employer’s children with other housework, until they had to release her as they had to go back home. At she then decided to come to Singapore to work. She is happily working with her current employers, taking care of their kids – 5 yr old twins and a new-born. However, the employers decided to stop work to do missionary work, which requires travelling with their children, and therefore sadly and reluctantly have to release her. They liked her so much that they are also helping her to find a good employer. Maria’s contract ends June th, but she wants to go back to Philippines for 2 weeks to attend to her son’s wedding first.
