Estela is a high school graduate and is able to speak and communicate in English. Her employer lived in an HDB flat with 4 rooms and 2 toilets. Estela was the only helper in the household, which required her to be very organised and responsible in managing all the daily household tasks. Her employer stayed in a condo with 3 rooms and 3 toilets. Estela was the only helper and in there, and she did the general household chores, laundry, ironing, and cooking.

Her main duties included taking care of the children and assisting with their daily needs. She helped them prepare for school, prepared their meals, and ensured that they were safe and comfortable at home. She also helped supervise the children’s activities and maintained a clean and organised environment for them. She handled the general cleaning of the house, such as sweeping, mopping the floors, dusting furniture, cleaning the rooms, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and bathrooms. She also did the laundry, ironing, and organising the household items.

In addition to these tasks, she was also in charge of cooking for the family. She prepared daily meals and followed the employer’s preferred style of cooking, including simple Asian and Indian dishes. Through her experience, she learned how to manage her time efficiently and ensure that all her responsibilities were completed properly each day.
