Sonia has working experience as a domestic helper in Malaysia from 2016 until 2023. Her employer is a Chinese family with two teenage children: a 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl. The family lives in a 2-storey house with 5 bedrooms and 6 toilets, and Sonia is the only helper working in the household.

Her main duties were managing the household chores, including cooking occasionally, cleaning the house, doing the laundry, ironing clothes, mopping the floors, and washing the dishes. She maintained the cleanliness and organization of the home and assisted with the daily needs of the family.

Sonia also has another working experience as a domestic helper in Jordan from 2024 until 2025. Her employer lives in a 3-storey house with 7 bedrooms and 8 toilets. There are two helpers working in the household, both Filipinas.

Her main responsibility was taking care of a 94-year-old elderly man who is still mobile. She assisted him with bathing, preparing his clothes, giving his medicine, accompanying him to the doctor for follow-up check-ups, walking with him for morning exercise, preparing and serving his food, and giving milk.

In addition, Sonia also looked after a small dog, including feeding, bathing, walking the dog every morning and afternoon, and cleaning up after it.

Her special skills include swimming, bicycle riding, and hand sewing. Her hobbies are cooking, cleaning, reading, and doing household work. She is willing to learn how to bake and is also willing to do car washing, gardening, and take care of pets.

She prefers to work for Chinese families and Indian non-vegetarian families.
