Experiences

7 months (May 2023 – Dec 2023) as a helper in Saudi Arabia

Joylyn worked in a 3-storey house with 5-bedrooms, 7-toilets, 2-living room and 2-kitchen for family of 6 with a 10-month-old, 4-, 10- and 11-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, assist employer to prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.  

(Jan 2024 – Jun 2024)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in Malaysia.

1 year 10 months (Jul 2024 – May 2026) as a helper in Malaysia

Joylyn worked in a condo with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for Chinese family of 4 with an infant and 6-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.  

(Jun 2026 – present)

Returns home, looks after her family welfare and seek new opportunities.

Cooking     

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.  

Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepared their milk, meals and fed them, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed their soiled clothes and diapers, dressed and get them ready for school, accompanied them for outdoor relaxation and medical check-up, administered their vitamins and medication, attended to and assisted in their needs.

Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.  

Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets.

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
