Jane completed her secondary education at Maryknoll Academy of Cateel in 2000. At present, she focuses on caring for her children and managing their household while waiting for an opportunity to work in Singapore. She worked for a Chinese family living in a four-bedroom mansion with a couple and their two children. During the first two years, she was the sole domestic helper and was mainly responsible for caring for a 10-month-old baby and, later, a newborn baby born in 2014, while also performing general household chores and occasional cooking. When another Filipina helper was hired, they shared the household responsibilities and worked together in maintaining the home. She is capable of preparing meals, feeding, bathing, changing clothes, supervising children, and engaging them in age-appropriate educational activities.
She is also proficient in performing various household chores, including general cleaning, laundry, washing clothes, ironing, dishwashing, and cooking. Jane is confident in preparing Filipino dishes and is eager to learn and improve her skills in cooking other cuisines according to her employer's preferences. She is willing to learn, adaptable to new environments, and eager to work in Singapore to support her family's needs and secure a better future for her children.
After selection, FDW will undergo 2 weeks of In-House- Private Training in Manila (Accredited by TESDA) then OWWA seminar and processing of POEA employment documents for deployment.
