Experiences

5 years 1 month (Mar 2015 – Apr 2020) as a helper in the Philippines

Gina worked in a flat with 3-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a family of 3 with a newborn and 3-year-old, and she assisted to look after their welfare, together with a co helper. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

2 years 10 months (Mar 2021 – Jan 2024) as a helper in the Philippines

Gina worked in a 2-storey house with 4-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 2 with an 8-year-old, and she looked after her welfare, together with a co helper. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

She works as an Administrative Aide, receiving barangay reports and complaints, assisting with monthly meetings, filing and validating documents, and monitoring barangay activities.

Cooking                           

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.

Childcare            

She is keen to look after children/ infants. In her local experience, she prepared their milk and meals, bathed and changed their soiled clothes, accompanied them for school activities, kept company and played with them, assisted and supervised their schoolwork, administered their vitamins and medication, attended to and assisted in their daily needs.

Hand phone    

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
