Christy, , is a soft spoken person with a loving disposition. Was an engineering student in college but did not complete when a relative told her to take a caregivers course for a possible opportunity in Canada. However, there was a change of mind and she did not go overseas. She then also worked as a caregiver for about a year for a wheelchair bound stroke patient. After some time raising her son all by herself, as her ‘boyfriend’ left her during her pregnancy, she decided to work in Singapore to give him a better future. Has been here since May working for her 1st and current employer for about the last 4yrs 5mths caring for their children ages 9, & then. Now that the children have grown up, her employer has no need of a helper and are allowing Christy to be transferred. She definitely comes across as someone who is committed, dedicated and very loving. She says as a child she was showered with love and care by her immediate family & relatives which contributed to her loving personality. This quality comes out very strongly in her interview with us.
