Three years she served for a Filipino/Chinese family in the Philippines. She applied in Taiwan as a domestic helper and got a two years domestic work contract. Her husband’s inability to get employment in the Philippines led her to go overseas and work as a housemaid. She wanted again as a domestic but this time in Singapore. She still needed to earn and save money so that she can send her daughters to good school and give them a good education.



Skills & Capability:

a. ) Infant & Childcare – Experienced to take care of infant and children. She has the ability to attend to their needs like feeding, bathing and preparing their foods. Her years of experienced in looking after the children made her very much aware of how to keep them clean, healthy and save all the time



b. ) Elderly – Can also take care of elderly. Though no proper experienced, she said that she can also do the job well.



c. ) Housekeeping- Experienced to do all kinds of household chores. She is capable of maintaining a clean house with less supervision. She can wash and iron clothes and is a good cook.



Working Experiences:

a. ) to – domestic helper in Taiwan; she’s an all around housemaid; did child minding



b. ) to – house maid in Manila; served a Chinese/Filipino family and child minding as well



Personal Assessment:

Nelia is used to hard work. She earned her living by being a house maid to other families. She loved her job very much because it is in this job that she’d able to support her family’s needs. Nelia is a competent and good housemaid. She has patient and determined to finish her contract. She is self-reliant and always has eagerness to do the tasks assigned to her.
