9 months (Jan – Oct ) as a helper in Hong Kong

Rachel worked in a 3-bedroom condo with 2-toilet, a living room and kitchen for a Chinese family of 4 with a 2- and 5-year-old. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, do marketing, prepare and cook for the family, do laundry, ironing and folding, looks after the children welfare. She did not complete the contract due to physical and verbal abuse by employer’s children, as they always punch or kicks her. In all these she learned to adjust to employer’s culture, for her future employment, she hopes to learn new culture and to get along with employer.

Returns home, do home organic farming and seek new job opportunities.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In Hong Kong, she prepared and cooked basic Chinese dishes, such as steamed fish, stew dishes, and stir-fried veggies etc.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children and/or infant.



Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets and she has local dog and cat back home, she grooms the dog, fed them and keep clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.



2 years contract

She is aware that she will enter a 2-year contract.

In summary, Rachel is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
