Experiences

1 year 9 months (Jun 2007 – Mar 2009) as helper in Singapore

Lydia worked in a condo with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Chinese family of 3 with a 7-year-old, and she looked after her welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, assist employer in marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

2 years (2009 – 2011) as helper in Malaysia

Lydia worked in an apartment with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Chinese-Malaysian family of 5 with a 3-year-old, and she looked after her welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, laundry, ironing and folding.

(2011 – 2012)

Returned home, took rest and applied to work in Singapore.

5 years 8 months (Dec 2012 – Aug 2018) as helper in Singapore

Lydia worked in a condo with 4-bedrooms, 3-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Chinese family of 4 with a 17- and 20-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better helper.

(Sep 2018 – Mar 2019)

Returned home, spent time with her family, and seek new work opportunities.

(Apr 2019 – present)

Works as a Barangay Volunteer in Iloilo, Philippines.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In Singapore, she prepared and cooked basic Chinese dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looked after her 2-year-old niece since infant.

Pet Care

She is keen to look after the pets. While in Singapore, she groomed, fed and walked a small dog, kept clean the pet areas.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.



2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
