Experiences

3 years (May 2005 – May 2008) as a caregiver cum helper in Taiwan

Rizalina worked in a flat with 2-bedrooms and toilet for a couple with mid-70’s paralyzed male, and she looked after his welfare. Daily, she cleaned and tidied the house, prepare and cook for the couple, laundry, ironing and folding.

Returned home, took rest and applied to work in Singapore.

4 months (Nov 2008 – Mar 2009) as a helper in Singapore

Rizalina worked in a HDB flat with 3-bedrooms and 2-toilets for a Chinese family of 5 with a 6- and 11-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

9 years 7 months (Mar 2009 – Oct 2018) as a helper in Singapore

Rizalina worked in a condo with 4-bedrooms and 3-toilets for an Indian family of 4 with a 6- and 11-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook breakfast and dinner, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Nov 2018 – Jun 2023)

Returned home, spent time with her family and seek new work opportunities.

(Jul 2023 – present) as a Nursing Aide at Leyte Provincial Hospital in the Philippines

Rizalina looked after patients (30 to 40 of them) with various medical conditions. She checked and monitored their blood sugar levels and ECGs, removed and changed catheters, IVs and dextrose bag, attended to and assisted with the patients' needs.



Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children.

Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.



Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Rizalina is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
