Margie is a 37yo Filipino domestic helper. She is blessed with 2 children (age of 17yo boy & 4yo girl). Margie is currently a housewife and wishes to spend more time with her children before pursuing employment overseas. She is looking forward to work in Singapore to earn more money for her children.

Mar 2010 to Jun 2012 (2yrs&3mths) Saudi Arabia: Margie was working in an Arabian Family with 4 children (age of 14yo girl, 12yo girl, 10yo girl & 7yo boy). Staying in a house with 5 rooms, only helper in the household. She took care of the children and her duties included preparing food, assisting to prepare for showers, preparing the child's school bag and uniform. She also managed in pet care (1 cat - but died after 2 months) and all the household chores such as cleaning, washing, ironing, laundry and cooking. She is able to cook simple Arabian food such as kabsa, samboosa, Arabic soup and so on.

Mar 2013 to Jun 2015 (2yrs&3mths) Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Margie was working in an Arabian Family with 7 children. Staying in a house with 7 rooms, only helper in the household. Her main focus was to take care 2 youngest children (age of 3yo & 6yo- both boys). Her duties included preparing food, assisting to prepare for showers, preparing the child's school bag and uniform, assist in their homework. She also managed in household chores such as cleaning,washing, ironing, laundry and cooking. She finished her contract and wanted to try to work in another country.

Feb 2016 to Oct 2017 (1yr&8mths) Hong Kong: Margie was working in a Chinese Family with 2 children (age of 2yo girl & 1mo boy). Staying in a condo with2 rooms. She look after both of the children. Besides, her duties also including changing diapers, giving baths, changing clothes, preparing and feeding milk and sometimes sleep with the infant. She also managed in household chores such as cleaning, washing, ironing, laundry, marketing and cooking. She is able to cook Chinese food such as steam fish, sauce chicken, soup, fried noodles, steam pork with pumpkin, stir-fried broccoli with beef and so on.

During our face to face interview in Manila, Margie shared that she worked as a lady guard for 2 years (2018 to 2020). She enjoys cooking, sewing and gardening. She is now ready to work abroad to earn more money for her children. Margie describes herself as a hardworking, flexible person and patient to the children.
