Majalel is a 37yo Filipino domestic helper. She is blessed with 3 children (aged 19yo, 16yo, and 10yo) who she took care of them when they were newborn babies. Currently, Majalel is stay home to spent time with her children before work aboard. Due to finance difficulty, Majalel has decided to seek employment in Singapore in hopes of earning a better income to support her family.
Nov 2012 to Mar 2025 Jordan (11yrs & 4mo): Majalel worked for a Jordanian family, caring for a 74yo elderly woman. When she first joined, the elderly woman was still mobile but required assistance as she was diabetic. Majalel was responsible for giving medicine, preparing meals, injecting insulin, helping her walk slowly, and attending to her daily needs. As the elderly woman aged, reaching 85, she eventually required a wheelchair, and Majalel provided full support including showering, changing clothes, feeding, and ensuring her comfort and safety. Alongside elderly care, Majalel also managed all general household chores such as cleaning, washing, laundry, ironing, gardening, and cooking Arabic food. The family lived in a 3-bedroom apartment, and she was the only helper in the household. In 2015, she rejoined the same employer in Jordan and continued her service. In 2019, she took a short 2-month vacation before returning again.
Majalel looks forward to work in Singapore to earn money to support her family.
