The family relocated back to China soon after. She ended her employment early due to mismatched expectations regarding housework, as she was not expecting to handwash a large volume of laundry on a daily basis.

Her duties were childcare like sending the 2 kids to school using public transport, bathing the youngest, playing with them, getting them ready for school, prepare brealfast etc. She also managed the cleaning, cooking , grocery shopping and wet market, ironing etc. Jo-Ann was released during the pandemic as they were financially affected during that time.
