Jul to Dec (3yrs & 5mths) Kuwait: Marychris worked for a Kuwaiti family of 7 with 5 children aged yo, yo, yo, 7yo, and 2yo. The family lived in a 4-bedroom flat and employed 2 Filipino helpers, with Marychris mainly responsible for general household duties. Her responsibilities included cleaning, washing, ironing, laundry, marketing, car washing, and cooking Arabic food. She completed her contract successfully and chose to return to her hometown after finishing her employment.
After completing her employment in Kuwait, she returned to the Philippines and ran her own small food business.
Jul to Jan (1yrs & 6mths) Singapore: Marychris worked for a Chinese family of 4 with 2 children aged 6yo and 3yo. The family lived in a 3-bedroom HDB flat, and she was the only helper in the household. Her main responsibilities included childcare such as preparing meals, feeding, showering, changing diapers and clothes, playing with the children, and sending the 3yo to school. In addition, she handled all general household duties including cleaning, washing, laundry, ironing, gardening, marketing, and cooking simple Chinese food. Her employment ended early as she was required to manage responsibilities across two households on a regular basis.
