Experiences

4 years 3 months (Jun 2014 – Sep 2018) as a helper in Saudi Arabia

Mariejo worked in a 2-storey house with 5-bedrooms, 5-toilets, 2-living room and a kitchen for a family of 6. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

(Oct 2018 – Feb 2019)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in UAE.  

1 year 6 months (Mar 2019 – Sep 2020) as a helper in United Arab Emirates

Mariejo worked in a bungalow with 3-bedrooms, 3-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 5 with a 14- and 15-year-old, and she looked after their welfare, together with an Ethiopian co-helper. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.  

(Oct 2020 – present)

Returns home, looks after her family welfare and currently, works in a canteen.  

Cooking                           

She cooks Filipino and Arabic dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.  

Childcare        

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In UAE, she prepared their meals, dressed and get them ready for school, attended to and assisted in their needs.

Elderly Care    

She is keen to look after the mobile elderly.  

Pet Care    

She is keen to look after pet cats, but not dogs.  

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
