She is a college undergraduate in Bachelor of Secondary Education, and possess an NCII certificate in Caregiving.

Experiences

7 years 4 months (Jan 2012 – May 2019) as a helper in Malaysia

Sharon worked in a bungalow with 3-bedrooms, 4-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Chinese-Indian family of 4 with an 8- and 11-year-old, and she looked after their welfare, together with an Indonesian co-helper. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, assists employer to prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car, tend to garden and plant watering.

Returned home, spent time with her family and seek new opportunities.

4 months (Jan 2021 – May 2021) took up OJT in caregiving at an OPD/Health Center/Community Service in the Philippines

She assisted nurses and patients, checked vital signs, administered Vitamin A, assisted in immunization programs, provided prenatal care support, and handled documentation tasks. She also completed training in Basic Nursing Skills, Tube Feeding, PEG Care, NGT Feeding, Oxygenation, Catheter Care, CBG Monitoring and Insulin Administration, Colostomy Care, and Tracheostomy Feeding.

Stayed home, spent time with her family and seek new opportunities.

3 years 10 months (Dec 2021 – Oct 2025) as a caregiver in the Philippines

Sharon worked in a flat with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 3, and she looked after the welfare of a diabetic elderly female, a stroke patient with hypertension, together with a co-caregiver. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to widen her experience to be a better caregiver.

Stays home, spend time with her family and seek new opportunities.

        
Cooking                           

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.  

Childcare        

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In Malaysia, she prepared their milk and meals, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed, dressed and get them ready for school, kept company and played with them, accompanied them for outdoor activities and travel, attended to and assisted in their needs.

Elderly Care        

She is keen to look after the elderly.

Pet Care        

She is keen to look after pets.  

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.

Recommendation

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Sharon is mature and ready to take on new challenge.
