She served as a nanny for the children including preparing the children's school essentials, make their meals and takes them to playdates and extra-curricular activities. Her duties also involved housekeeping, cooking, grocery shopping, marketing, cooking, gardening. and care for the family's dog. Darlyn cared for the flowering plants too and planted bougainvilleas She cooked Chinese, Malaysian, and Asian dishes, including fried rice, steamed fish, steamed chicken, shrimp dishes, sweet and sour dishes, pancit bihon, ABC soup, tofu dishes, lotus root soup, nasi lemak, Malaysian curry, chicken rice, braised pork, banana cake, and cookies. She completed her contract.
