4 years (Jun 2010 – Jun 2014) as a caregiver in the Philippines

Aurea worked in a 2-storey apartment with 2-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a Chinese-Filipino family, and she looked after the welfare of an 88-year-old female, a stroke patient with hypertension and colostomy bag, together with 2 co-caregivers and 2 helpers.  

3 years 11 months (Jan 2013 – Dec 2016) as a caregiver in the Philippines

Aurea worked in a bungalow with 4-bedrooms, 4-toilets, a living room and kitchen, and she looked after the welfare of 63-year-old female, a stroke patient with brain surgery, together with a co-caregiver and 2 helpers.

(Jan 2017 – Aug 2017)

Stayed home, looked after her family welfare and seek new opportunities.

1 year 11 months (Sep 2017 – Aug 2019) as a stay-out caregiver in the Philippines

Aurea worked in a bungalow with 5-bedrooms, 3-toilets, 2-living room and 2-kitchen for a Chinese-Filipino family, and she looked after the welfare of an 88-year-old male, a stroke patient with spinal cord fracture, together with 3 helpers and 2 co caregivers.  

(Sep 2019 – May 2023)

Stayed home, looked after her family welfare and seek new opportunities.

2 years 5 months (Jun 2023 – Nov 2025) as a stay-out caregiver in the Philippines

Aurea worked in a bungalow with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 3, and she looked after the welfare of an 80-year-old male, a comatose and stroke patient fed via NGT for 4 months, and a 79-year-old bedridden female, a stroke patient with Alzheimer’s disease fed via PEG tube.  

(Dec 2025 – present)

Aurea works at Zamboanga City Medical Center in the HEMS (Hospital Emergency Medical Services) Department as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Her responsibilities include responding to ambulance calls, performing rescue operations, providing pre-hospital emergency care, controlling bleeding, splinting injuries, stabilizing patients, and performing CPR. She also assists in the Emergency Room by monitoring patients' vital signs and providing support in patient care.

Cooking     

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.  

Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.

Recommendation

As a caregiver, her main duty is towards patient’s welfare and wellness, hygiene and cleanliness of patient’s room area. Aurea is mature and ready to take on new challenge. We believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family. We trust you can consider her and give Aurea an opportunity in patient’s care.
