Experiences

5 months (Oct 2019 – Mar 2020) as a nanny in Kuwait

Rufa worked in a 2-storey house with 5-bedrooms, 4-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 5, and she looked after the welfare of a newborn, 2- and 3-year-old.  

(Apr 2020 – May 2023)

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in Hongkong.

1 year 11 months (Jun 2023 – May 2025) as a helper in Hongkong

Rufa worked in an apartment with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 3 with a newborn, and she looked after the infant’s welfare. She does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Returns home, looks after her family welfare and seek new opportunities.

Cooking 

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.  

Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she also cared for a newborn and young children.

Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.  

Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets.  

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
