The Caucasian family sold their house to a Singaporean family, which was keen to hire Ventura to be their maid. The landed house was then under renovation, and for the meantime Ventura lived with the Singaporean daughter family. Occasionally she would return to the landed house to clean the mess that was there and cooked dinner for the Sir and Madam living in the house before returning to their daughters house. In order to avoid trouble, she stopped working for them and return back.
