Hsu worked for a Chinese family of 4 members, where she took care of an 85-year-old Ah Mah who was semi-mobile. Her duties included supporting her when walking, preparing meals, accompanying her for medical checkups, administering medication, and providing general care and supervision.

Hsu also has experience taking care of her own child from newborn, assisting with daily activities such as showering, feeding milk, and changing clothes.

Teresa started her overseas employment in 2017 with a Chinese family in Singapore, where she worked for three years and successfully completed her contract. Her responsibilities included general household chores, childcare, school drop-off and pick-up, and preparing Chinese meals. The family lived in an HDB flat with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

From July 2020 to August 2020, she worked for a Chinese-Singaporean family consisting of two adults and a 7-year-old girl. Her duties included childcare, school transportation, cooking Chinese, Filipino, and Japanese dishes, and managing all household chores in a five-room HDB flat with three bathrooms. Her employment ended because the previous helper was unable to return home as originally planned.

In August 2020, Teresa joined a Singaporean family with three adults and a 5-year-old boy. She handled childcare, assisted the child with homework, and managed household chores. The family lived in a five-room HDB flat with three bathrooms. Her employment was short-term due to a change in the employer's family arrangements regarding the need for a helper.

From September 2020 to July 2023, she worked for an Indian family and successfully completed her contract. The family consisted of two adults, a 6-year-old boy, and a newborn baby girl. Her duties included infant care, childcare, household management, and maintaining the cleanliness of a private flat apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This experience strengthened her ability to care for newborns and young children.

From July 2023 to February 2024, she worked for a Punjabi-Indian family with two adults, an 8-year-old girl, and a small dog. Her responsibilities included childcare, pet care, and household chores. The employment ended due to a mismatch in work expectations and workload arrangements.

Her most recent employer was an Indian family consisting of two adults and a 6-year-old boy. She worked from February 2024 to March 2024, performing childcare duties, school drop-off and pick-up, and general household management in a private flat apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Her employment ended when her employer returned to India for medical treatment and decided to stay there permanently.

Teresa is confident in caring for children aged one year old and above and is also experienced in newborn care. She is comfortable handling pets and can manage household tasks efficiently. Galuh Fajar Vermana is a 30-year-old single Indonesian helper. She has worked with two employers in Singapore and Hong Kong, gaining valuable experience in caring for both special needs teenager and elderly person. She is able to converse in simple English and can understand basic Cantonese, though she is unable to reply. From 2019 to 2022, for 3 years she worked with an Indian expatriate family of four, caring mainly for the eldest daughter, a 13-year-old autistic teenager. She prepared her for school each morning, including showering, diaper changing, hygiene, and uniform, and accompanied her to school. In class, she assisted the girl by gently holding and guiding her hands during coloring and drawing and supported her with simple hand and leg exercises. After-school she continued with feeding, hygiene, exercise, and leisure routines. She also maintained the household, cleaning a 3-bedroom, 2-toilet condominium, doing laundry and ironing, and helping Madam with cooking preparations. She left the family when Madam returned to India with the children. From 2023 to 2024, for one year she worked in Hong Kong caring for an 86-year-old disabled Ah Mah with diabetes and heart issues. Her duties included monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar, administering insulin injections and medication, and assisting with showering, toileting, diaper changes, meals. She accompanied Ah Mah for regular medical check‑ups, daily exercise, marketing, and leisure outings. She also managed household chores in a 2-bedroom, 1-toilet apartment, including cleaning, laundry, and cooking. She left the job after Ah Mah passed away. Galuh enjoys cooking and is able to prepare a variety of dishes. Besides her own Indonesian cuisine, she has learned Chinese and Indian dishes from her employers. These include sweet and sour pork, steamed fish, steamed egg, briyani, curry chicken, dhal, prata, stir‑fried vegetables, fried rice, porridge, grilled meats, curries, and sambal. She has proven ability in caring for an autistic teenager and a disabled elderly person, showing patience, attentiveness, and adaptability. She has no experience with newborns and infants but is willing to learn. Galuh is ready to return to Singapore and is fine with taking care of elderly, disabled persons, special needs children, and general childcare.
