She is skilled in preparing various Filipino dishes, such as adobo, paksiw, tinolang manok, barbecue, bamboo shoots in coconut milk, estofado, tapsilog, fried rice, fried chicken, ginataang gulay, ginataang isda, pork stew, and more. Along with caregiving, Maribel also manages household chores, including cleaning, making beds, laundry, ironing, and washing dishes.

Maryani is an experienced helper who has worked in Taiwan and Indonesia. She can speak Chinese. She is not able to walk and uses a wheelchair
