Born and raised in Luna, Isabela, Cynthia is the youngest of five siblings, growing up under the care of a humble, hardworking household.

Cynthia completed her high school education at Luna High School and later enrolled in a vocational course in Secretarial Science. Although she had to leave the course after her first year due to financial hardship, she never allowed that setback to define her.

Her early years of employment included working as a factory worker in Taiwan, where she spent six years. These experiences instilled in her a strong work ethic and a sense of discipline—skills that would later serve her well in her career as a domestic helper abroad.

Hongkong (Sept 2012 till January 2014) Cynthia took her first job abroad. There, she cared for a Chinese couple and their 3-year-old child with special needs. She handled all household chores while providing patient and attentive care to the child, demonstrating her nurturing nature and ability to handle delicate responsibilities with empathy and grace.

Singapore (Sep 2016 – Present), Cynthia moved to Singapore, where she has been working ever since. Cynthia’s presence has brought comfort and stability to her employer’s home, and she is known for her reliability and quiet strength.

Through all her experiences, Cynthia has developed strong skills in both childcare and elderly care. She is confident in handling infants and young kids—preparing meals, organizing school needs, bathing, playing, and guiding them with love.

She has also cultivated a love for cooking and takes pride in her ability to prepare a variety of Filipino and Chinese dishes. She can follow recipes well and is eager to learn other cuisines if given the opportunity. Additionally, she is open to handling tasks like gardening, car washing, and pet care when needed.

Aug 2023 to August 2025 for a Dutch/Chinese family with kids then aged 7y and 10y when she started and living in a condo. Her duties are childcare, cooking, cleaning, laundry, ironing, making the grocery list, cooking or meal planning. Arlene would get the kids ready for school like preparing breakfast/water bottle/ lunch boxes, She can make lasagna, shepherd’s pie, spaghetti , empanadas, baked pasta, macaroni and vegetables salad, bake chicken/beef/pork and fish, roast potatoes, curry chicken and fish, stewed chicken/beef and pork, stir fry vegetables, steamed egg with minced pork, sweet and sour fish/pork /prawn and chicken , chicken pie, meatballs with pasta and tomato sauce, mashed potatoes, honey garlic butter bake salmon, Swedish meat pie, quiche, pizza , cinnamon rolls, beef steak and can easily follow recipes. The family will be moving to a smaller apartment thus, they do not need her services anymore.

Sept 2019 to Aug 2023 for a New Zealander family with 2 kids then aged 7y and 11y living in a 3storey house. Her duties are to prepare the children's need for school like their lunch boxes, breakfast, their things for the extra classes and do the general housework like cleaning, laundry, ironing and cooking. The family has moved to a small condo and so they do not need her services anymore. A written recommendation can be provided.

Sept 2013 to Sept 2019 for a Danish family with a 10y old twins living in a condo. Her duties were cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, getting them ready for school. She makes the grocery list for her employers to order. The family relocated , she has a written recommendation.

May 2011 to Sept Sept 2013 for a Dutch family with kids then aged 7y and 11 living in a condo. She would prepare their lunch boxes, snacks, water bottles etc. Arlene also manages the cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking etc. She family relocated and a written recommendation can be provided too.
