Experiences

1 year 1 month (Feb 2019 – Mar 2020) as a helper in Lebanon

Elpidia worked in a bungalow with 3-bedrooms, 6-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Lebanese family of 9, together with 2 co-helpers. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, does laundry, ironing and folding.

(Apr 2020 – Nov 2022)

Returned home, spent time with her family and applied to work in Malaysia.

2 years (Dec 2022 – Dec 2024) as a helper in Malaysia

Elpidia worked in a bungalow with 8-bedrooms, 10-toilets, 2-living room and 2-kitchen for a Chinese family of 10 with a 3- and 5-year-old, and she looked after their welfare, together with 2 co-helpers. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.    

(Jan 2025 – present)

Returns home, spend time with her family and seek new job opportunities.

Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In Malaysia, she prepared and cooked basic Chinese dishes, such as bacoti, steamed fish etc.

Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants.

Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
