She completed her secondary education at Misamis Oriental General Comprehensive High School in 2002. Never one to stop learning, Ivy returned to school and completed her Bachelor of Science in Midwifery at Tagoloan Community College, proudly graduating in 2021.

Ivy began working as a housekeeping attendant in a hotel from 2015 to 2016, where she developed strong skills in maintaining cleanliness, order, and customer service. In July 2018, she transitioned into her field of study, working as a midwife in a hospital.

Although Ivy does not have formal experience as a domestic worker abroad, she has years of hands-on experience managing her own home.

Ivy is comfortable preparing Filipino dishes and is eager to learn more foreign recipes. In addition, she is open to performing gardening, car washing, and pet care duties when needed.
