Jocelyn worked in a villa with 4-bedrooms, 4-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a French family of 4 with an 8- and 16-year-old, and she looked after their welfare, together with a co-helper (her cousin). Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

5 months (Aug 2017 – Jan 2018) as a helper in Hong Kong

Jocelyn worked in a flat with 3-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a Chinese family of 5 with a 4-, 5- and 8-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experience.

Returns home, looks after her family welfare and currently, works as a fish vendor in the Philippines.

Cooking                   

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In her previous experience, she prepared and cooked basic Arabia and Chinese dishes, such as biryani, saloona, stir-fried veggies, steam dishes etc.

Childcare

She is keen to look after children / infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepared their milk and meals, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed them with fresh clothing and diapers, dressed and sent them to-and-fro from school, accompanied them for outdoor activities and during night hours, kept company, played with them and soothed them to sleep, attended to and assisted in their needs.

Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.

Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. While in Dubai, she fed a bird, and kept clean the pet’s cage.

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.

Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
