Background

Reni 43 married with a 17-, 13- and 5-year-old, and the 2nd child in the family of 3 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support her family and she is from Banyumas, Indonesia.

Experience

2 years (2014 - 2016) as a helper in Malaysia.

Reni worked in a 3-bedroom house with 2-toilets for a family of 4 including a 5- and 7-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. She does general house cleaning and related chores, laundry, ironing, and folding, go marketing and wash the family car.

3 years (2020 - 2023) as a helper in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Reni worked in a 2-storey house, with 3-bedrooms and 3-toilets for a family of 4 including a 75-year-old female stroke bedridden patient, and she looked after her welfare. Daily she clean and tidy the house, prepare and cook their meals, wash and clean up the kitchen and utensils after use, do laundry, ironing, and folding, go marketing and car washing.

Cooking

She cooks Indonesian dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes as well.

Childcare

She is keen to look after children.

Elderly care

She is keen to look after elderly. In her previous experience, she prepared her meals, bathed and groomed her, changed her with fresh clothing and diapers, administered her medications, attended to and assisted in her needs.

Pet Care

Handphone

She will follow the employer's instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour.

Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.

Off-day

The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly.

2 years contract

She is aware that she will enter a 2 years contract.

Recommendation

In summary, Reni is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer's needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
