1995 to 2000. For a Chinese Family with two children in a 4 bedroom condo unit. She was given her own room. Perlita joined the household at a critical time when her employer’s wife was about to give birth. The newborn required hospitalization for three months due to a low platelet count, during which Perlita was entrusted with staying at the hospital to care for the baby. Upon returning home, her primary responsibilities focused on infant care, including diaper changing, night care (sleeping with the baby), bathing, and feeding.

In addition to childcare, Perlita handled general household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing. She also managed grocery shopping and occasionally cooked meals for the family, preparing dishes like chicken rice, pork stew, and vegetable salad. She also assisted with pet care, car washing, and gardening, including tending to flowering plants and cultivating vegetables and herbs like bitter gourd and tomatoes. She eventually finished her contract. Perlita can also cook a variety of Filipino dishes, including beef stew, adobo, sinigang, kaldereta, fried rice, dinengdeng, pakbet, menudo, and grilled dishes and can follow recipes.
